I.M.P.A.C.T.

Feel like you're not reaching your potential for the Lord? Want to be used by God, but not sure how to get started? Then our I.M.P.A.C.T. Sunday School class is for you.

I.M.P.A.C.T. stands for “Intentionally Modeling Practical Applications of Christ's Truth.” The class is designed to impact you on Sunday mornings so that you can make an impact on others the rest of the week.

The class is taught by Kris Hogan, athletic director and head football coach at Faith Christian School in Grapevine, and David Thomas, a columnist with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Their lessons follow this monthly format:

First Sunday: Establishing the Truth - Laying a Biblical foundation from which you can best make you impact.

Second Sunday: Viewing the Truth - Helping you see how a Christian worldview impacts how we approach our everyday activities.

Third Sunday: Living the Truth - Discussing practical ways to put the truth into practice so that we can make our desired impact.

Fourth Sunday: Debating with the Truth - Equipping ourselves with Biblical knowledge to be able to confidently and competently discuss current events in a way that makes maximum impact.

Fifth Sunday: Hard Questions Sunday - Answering the hard questions you have or are afraid that your friends may ask you. This is an informal Q&A format with Kris and David, and everyone is encouraged to bring questions and their own breakfast. (Tip: The teachers have been known to first answer the questions from those who bring them doughnuts.)

I.M.P.A.C.T. runs from 9:15-10:00 a.m. in Room 201 (upstairs in the Office Building). If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kris at kris.hogan@fcschool.org or David at emaildavidthomas@yahoo.com.

Each week's class is recorded and available on this page.
